Description

Sail through the colorful waters of the Bacalar lagoon and enjoy paradisiacal views in this half day Bacalar sailing experience. In a small and intimate atmosphere of no more than seven sailors, you'll meet new people and enjoy the wonders of nature in this unforgettable excursion.

The Bacalar Sailing Tour Half-Day is the perfect option for those looking for a more laid-back and social experience. Here the collective boat will take you around Bacalar, Mexico's second-largest lagoon, as you drink beers, eat freshly made guacamole and enjoy fun music.

While you do that, you'll sail around the Isla de Los Pájaros –a popular nesting spot for migratory birds– sail above enormous underwater cenotes, and come face to face with authentic stromatolites, some of the world's oldest fossils!

Though this Bacalar sailing experience doesn't include a private boat, only six people can ride at the time, making the Bacalar Half-Day Sailing Tour the perfect budget choice for families.

Meeting Point:

We depart from Camping "El Jardín de Venus" Av. 5 entre 42 y 44 #1239. More details in your instant confirmation upon purchase.

Why We Love Bacalar

This is one of the last places on the Yucatan peninsula where you can truly feel like you're getting away from it all. Tourism in the area is growing, but still in its early stages. The quiet town of Bacalar is perched upon the incredible blue water of Bacalar Lagoon, the largest lake in the Yucatan Peninsula. Bacalar is for the independent traveler, looking to escape the crowds and bustle of Cancun or Tulum. Enjoy the "Lake of Seven Colors" with this incredible sailboat tour to create memories of a lifetime.
