Your first stop is Roatan's very own Monkey & Sloth hangout, where you'll learn all there is to know about sloths and capuchin monkeys as you interact with them. This family-run animal sanctuary is one of the island's most famous destinations, all while contributing to the preservation of the species.

Your tour continues with an exciting boat ride aboard one of Roatan's famous glass-bottom boats, where you'll be able to sit on the lower deck and explore the world's second-largest coral reef. You will also be able to snorkel in these beautiful waters, as this tour includes a 45-minute, beginner-friendly snorkel adventure where you'll swim through the crystal clear waters while admiring the ocean life up close!

Will I still see sloths on the tour?

Yes! While you can no longer hold sloths (starting June 2025) due to new government regulations, you’ll still get to see them up close, take great pictures, and enjoy interactions with other amazing animals.

Will I get to hold a sloth?

Yes! Not only will you get to hold a sloth, but you'll also be able to interact with other animals, such as parakeets, parrots and monkeys.

What should I bring to this tour?

This three-in-one tour offers a unique combination of land and water activities, so it's important to come prepared. Pack comfortable clothes and walking shoes, a change of clothes, towels, biodegradable sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Although all necessary snorkeling equipment is provided, it's recommended to bring a shirt you can snorkel with to protect your back from the sun's rays.

What kind of animals can I find in the ocean?

It's estimated that there's over 400 different kinds of fish in Roatan's coral reefs, so it's impossible to tell you exactly what fish you'll see while snorkelig. However, parrotfish, butterflyfish, surgeonfish and other schooling fish can be expected.
