• Car Rental: Providenciales is a relatively small island, but renting a car is recommended for exploring beyond your accommodation. Rental cars and jeeps are considered the most cost-effective means of transport, especially outside the central Grace Bay region where attractions are spread out.
• Driving in Providenciales: Driving is on the left, similar to the UK and many British Commonwealth countries. Roundabouts are common, there are no stoplights, and main roads are paved. The speed limit is 40 mph (64 km/h) on highways and 20 mph (32 km/h) through settlements.
