Wildlife Tours in Caribbean

If you’re an animal lover, you’ll think you’ve found heaven when you join wildlife tours in Belize. From underwater marine adventures to above-ground animal encounters, you can get up close to lots of Belize’s native animals, making memories that will last long after your vacation ends.

If you want to try your hand at snorkeling or scuba diving in Belize, on a Hol Chan Shark and Ray Alley tour you can experience up close and personal encounters with friendly stingrays and sharks at one of Belize’s best marine reserves. Or, on a Turtle Full Day Adventure, you can swim with the most beloved creatures in the ocean, sea turtles.

If you want to cram in as many animals as possible to your Belize visit, then the Belize Zoo - home to over 45 species, and 150 animals - will be a surefire hit. A sanctuary as much as a zoo, this wildlife-friendly space rehabilitates orphaned or injured animals, and seeing them treated so well will leave you feeling great for the rest of the day.

Manatees are another big draw in Belize and you can see them in the wild not far from Belize City, living in lagoons and offshore cayes. These ‘sea cows’ are notoriously shy, but it’s very likely you’ll see them here on a wildlife excursion in Belize.
